Chapter Summary:  This chapter builds upon concepts introduced in Chapter 1.  It introduces students to different theories about the role of the lawyer, including not only the theory of the lawyer as a neutral partisan, but competing visions of professional morality, including moral responsibility, feminist, religious lawyering, racial justice, and lawyer as civics teacher.
